Tieback Beam Pockets

H-Beams and Wide Flange sections are commonly used for soldier pile or beam & lagging to provide temporary or permanent support of excavation. Often, these structures require tieback anchors. In addition to the threaded bar and hardware, Alameda provides custom length beams with predetermined elevation pipe pockets that reduce fieldwork, which speeds up installation while improving finished product quality.

Sheet piles walls are a cost-effective installation method for shoring and retention applications, often requiring an anchorage package to resist deflection. These packages include channel, waler, capping, threaded bar, bearing plates and hardware. Insitu deep foundation applications like drilled shafts and auger cast piles require steel inclusions. Cans, or Rolled & Welded casing, are an integral part of drilled shafts and other foundation systems. Having an R&W source in the SoCal region can be a big advantage for foundation drillers and utility contractors. Shipping plays a big part in the costs of delivering 5-10, 20, etc. custom length cans with square or beveled ends, and Alameda is perfectly positioned to be the low-cost producer in the region.
